PRIVACY POLICY

Privacy Policy

Seiyu GK (hereinafter called "the Company") shall respect the customers' privacy, recognize that it is important to protect the customers' personal information, strive to properly manage them, and comply to the following.
"Personal information" refers to the information that can identify the customers, such as names, addresses, telephone numbers, mail addresses.

(1)Collection, use and provision of the personal information

  • The customers' personal information shall be used only for the purpose of providing the customers with the information and other related information on sales of merchandise and services of the Company and its group companies.
  • In case the personal information is used for the purpose other than that, we shall ask the customer if he/she agrees to it when he/she provides us with his/her personal information.
  • The personal information collected shall not be provided nor disclosed to the third party without the customers' consent except the following cases: disclosure is requested by laws, ordinances, etc.; necessary consignment of the work to fulfill the purpose of the use of the information; to prevent a grave damage to the customers' and/or public's life, health, properties, and so on. In case the work is consigned to the third party, the confidentiality agreement shall be concluded with the consignee to strictly manage the personal information.
(2)Proper management of personal information
The customers' personal information shall be managed properly with the security measures to prevent the loss, damage, alteration, leak, and unauthorized access.
(3)Compliance to the statutes on the personal information
When handling the customers' personal information, it must be in compliance to the laws and guidelines such as Personal Information Protection Act.
(4)Maintenance and improvement in the protection of personal information
The company will train its employees so that they can properly handle the customers' personal information.
(5)Disclosure, revision, and deletion of personal information
When a customer contacts the person in charge of the matter of the Company and requests to refer to, revise, or delete his/her personal information, the Company will respond to that request in a reasonable and appropriate manner.
(6)This privacy policy becomes invalid when Seiyu group replaces it by a new privacy policy.
Note 1. The followings are major purposes of using personal information that Seiyu received from our customers:
  • Catalogs and advertisement of Mid-year and End of year gifts are delivered to customers. Gift order sheets for the convenience of customers on which the customer's name and the recipients' names are printed for the convenience of the customer's next gift orders.
  • When confirming with the customer about his/her order, or purchase, layaway and handing over (selling) the product, Products for repairs and alterations of purchased garments and home delivery of purchased items.
  • Via Direct mails, e-mail and other means for the announcement/advertisement on products and services, various types of information on consumers' living and recommendation of new products and services.
  • For the members only announcement/advertisement of Special sales other sales and promotions
  • Sending the materials or information when a customer asked us to do so.
  • Announcement for recruiting the volunteers for our special events and campaigns such as "Eco Nico learning class". And later communication to the applicants and delivery of materials, information and service to them.
  • Soliciting membership of a course in "Community College", various specialty shops, and bicycle friendship club, etc. And communication to the applicants about guidance, explanation and providing materials, information and services.
  • Marketing surveys about customers' likes and tastes and others
  • Response to customer's question
Note 2. Please noted that Seiyu and Seiyu group may use the personal information jointly within the scope of the purposes stated above.
Note 3. Seiyu group is consisted of the following companies as of today. Whenever there is any change, the list of the companies will be updated.
